At the Konoha Ninja Academy platform.

The Chunin thought his jutsu had trapped Tian Yuan—but Tian Yuan had switched to a Clone Technique unseen. Meanwhile, he appeared above the Chunin, his ninjutsu already primed.

A massive fireball warped the air and scorched the surroundings. Even distant students felt its heat—this Fire Release dwarfed Kiga's earlier jutsu by orders of magnitude.

"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique."

The colossal blaze struck where the Chunin had stood, blackening the platform.

As the flames died, the area lay empty, cracked by the heat.

Tian Yuan then turned and faced another Konoha Chunin standing by seals. In the Chunin's horrified gaze, Tian Yuan formed seals faster, and both unleashed ninjutsu simultaneously.

"Earth Release: Earth Spear."

"Earth Release: Earth Spear."

Rock spikes shot upward beneath each combatant.

Thud, thud. Both were hit and vanished as wooden planks—Substitution Technique.

As taijutsu and ninjutsu clashed, the Academy students were speechless. Tian Yuan's mastery and timing were flawless, sealing him as a hero in their eyes. They cheered, eager for his victory—some shared the chagrin of the Chunin he was about to defeat.

"That boy is incredible—for jutsu control, seal speed… he even forces rivals into their own strategies. He fights at Chunin level." Orochimaru marveled.

"He's my little brother." Jiraiya laughed.

"Orochimaru, ignore him—he's mad." Tsunade chided.

"Tian Yuan…" Sarutobi Hiruzen nodded in approval. Tian Yuan's mastery of ninjutsu surpassed many Chunin.

Nearby, Uchiha Obito waved at Kakashi and Rin.

"Good thing he's not done yet." Obito said as Tian Yuan and the Chunin's battle intensified.

"Tian Yuan's as strong as me," Obito admitted—he himself was only a Chunin. Kakashi glanced at Obito; Tian Yuan even outshone him in parts.

"Tian Yuan's skill, straight out of the gate, is astounding." Rin sighed.

"Kakashi, who will win?" Obito asked.

"Tian Yuan has the edge," Kakashi replied.

On the platform, the two combatants eyed each other, then vanished in midstep. They reappeared as their Kunai clashed once more.

Tian Yuan then grinned, unleashing streams of small fireballs from his mouth—inescapable.

"Fire Release: Phoenix Fire Technique."

The Chunin raised frantic seals.

"Earth Release: Earthen Shield Formation."

A great earthen wall rose. The fireballs struck with tremors but could not break it—he exhaled in relief.

A cold touch at his neck froze him.

"You lose." Tian Yuan stood behind him, Kunai at his throat—an enemy would already be dead.

"I lose." the Chunin conceded.

Tian Yuan sheathed his Kunai. "Well fought."

"I am Aoki, a Konoha Chunin." the young man introduced himself.

"I am Tian Yuan, still a student." Tian Yuan smiled and stepped down.

"Remarkable, Tian Yuan." students flocked around—their hero's strength truly unmatched.

"Tian Yuan, you're awesome." Anko joined him.

"You too, Anko; keep training." Tian Yuan encouraged her.

"Of course." Anko beamed.

"That was…" Jiraiya's eyes flickered.

"One-handed seals." Orochimaru explained. "Though not fastest, they caught him off guard. Impressive."

"One-handed seals—Tian Yuan has that capability?" Jiraiya said in wonder.

"Combined, he can defeat ordinary Chunin." Tsunade assessed.

"Hm," Orochimaru nodded.
