But it made no sense: why send a kid to do this?
"Killer B, I'm here to defeat you," Tian Yuan replied calmly.
Killer B paused, then laughed. "You idiot, you punk—what kind of sickness makes you think you can defeat me? If Orochimaru himself said that, maybe I'd believe it."
Even the Cloud ninja behind him couldn't help but laugh. They had no respect for a brat like this; they'd just eliminate him.
"Lord Killer B, let me kill this Konoha brat," one Cloud ninja stepped forward.
"Wait," Killer B said, "do you still intend to defeat me?"
"Of course," Tian Yuan tensed.
"Then I'll give you one chance, Konoha brat." Killer B signaled his men to stand down, then vanished in an instant. "You wanted to see my full strength, didn't you?"
Before the sound reached Tian Yuan, Killer B had reappeared before him, unleashing a torrent of lightning-infused Chakra.
"So fast." Tian Yuan's eyes widened. He spread his hands and used his palms to absorb the blow, but Killer B's raw power blasted him backward.
Killer B closed in, throwing phantom-like punches that surrounded Tian Yuan's body.

But Tian Yuan refused to give in.
"Armament Haki hardening." His arms turned jet black as he gripped a Kunai.
"Armament Haki weaving." The Kunai glowed with strange energy.
Under Killer B's astonished gaze, Tian Yuan blocked the blow with his Kunai.
Clang… The two Haki-infused weapons met, Chakra and lightning locked in tension. Silver bolts danced across Tian Yuan's darkened arms. Without Armament Haki, he couldn't have held on—but the gap in their strength was clear. Killer B held the advantage.
"You're still too weak, Konoha brat, punk, idiot," Killer B's eyes gleamed. "Your power is nowhere near enough."
Instantly, the lightning Chakra on Killer B's blade surged, dramatically boosting its power.
Boom. The impact sent Tian Yuan flying backward. He slammed his feet into the ground, and stray sparks drained from his body into the earth.
"Too dangerous." Tian Yuan glanced at his Kunai, nearly shattered, and forced a wry smile. Killer B's strength was overwhelming. He could only barely match him. Any ninjutsu Tian Yuan cast could be dodged easily by such a superior opponent.
Seeing Tian Yuan retreat, Killer B didn't pursue. He brought a hand to his neck and flexed, the joints cracking.
"Not bad, Konoha brat. At your age, you've got enough strength to get Killer B's attention," he said, as if granting a last word. Up to now, he'd been toying with Tian Yuan, but now he intended to unleash his full power.
"You've got Jonin-level skills, yet you dare face me. You're delusional." He drew several more blades from behind him.
"I'll let you die by my signature attack." Killer B's smile turned ice-cold.
"Wild Reel Heron Slayer Blade." Killer B lunged at Tian Yuan with unimaginable speed and strength.
"Open Gate Open…"
"Rest Gate open."
"Life Gate open."
"Injury Gate open."
"Barrier Gate open."
Rumbles of Chakra swirled around Tian Yuan's body.
