Tian Yuan, spotted by Tsunade, paid her no mind. The signal was just out of reach, so he darted closer to the hot spring pool where Tsunade and Shizune bathed. Stopping at a hidden nook, he said, "Almost there," as the signal reception began.

"Well, if it isn't you again, Tian Yuan." Tsunade—wrapped in a towel—smiled, "You've been learning from Jiraiya, haven't you?"

In the misty distance, Jiraiya sneezed innocently. He'd wanted to take Tian Yuan along on his travels, but had never found the time. Truly, Jiraiya was blameless in this.

"You're so young, yet you pick up Jiraiya's bad habits," Tsunade chided as she approached. "Being with Orochimaru didn't teach you any of his gloominess, though."

"Tsunade Jonin, you jest." Tian Yuan stammered. He still needed a moment—the signal was nearly fully received. Of course, Tsunade knew nothing of that.

"Well then, run along now." Tsunade gathered Chakra in her hand—her signature jutsu, monstrous strength. A burst of power sent Tian Yuan's hair flying. Tsunade held back, judging him only at Chunin level; with his newfound physique, he could even briefly contend with her. Tian Yuan, however, refused to back down.

"Wait, Tsunade Jonin." With a swift reach, Tian Yuan grabbed Tsunade's towel at her waist. Her monstrous power flung him upward, then the towel's rebound dumped him back to the ground. The signal reception snapped complete—he couldn't be bested so easily.

Looking at the towel in his hand, Tian Yuan realized he'd yanked it free. Before him lay Tsunade's exposed form—two immense orbs glistening with droplets of spring water.

"So beautiful…" he murmured, snapping Tsunade fully awake. A chill wind blew, making her shiver.

"Tian Yuan!" Tsunade's face burned crimson, her eyes blazing with the fire of shame and fury.

"Tian Yuan, be careful!" Shizune, draped in a towel, warned, noticing Tsunade's near-loss of reason.

"Let me wrap this for you, Tsunade Jonin," Tian Yuan offered, holding out the towel.

"You little pervert!" Tsunade's cheeks flamed. Though Tian Yuan was only a child, ninja prodigies matured early—and seeing her so exposed infuriated her. His words ignited her anger.

Boom—Chakra erupted from Tsunade's fist, aimed straight at Tian Yuan.

"Whoa!" Tian Yuan noted that attack was worthy of a Jonin. Perhaps Tsunade had realized his true might.

"I'm not dying senselessly!" he cried, and with quick reflexes, pressed a hand against Tsunade's chest. Her punch connected with his torso.

Crash—Tian Yuan flew backward, a dark speck against the sky, then vanished.

"Darn you, Tian Yuan." Tsunade clutched her towel, left behind. "And it's all Jiraiya's fault. That little pervert." She glanced down at her breasts—she'd felt Tian Yuan's hand on them.

"Tsunade Jonin…" Shizune approached. "Is Tian Yuan alright?" She feared Tsunade's full-strength blow might have killed him.

"He's tougher than he looks." Tsunade adjusted her towel. "That brat's strength outclasses his Chunin exam level—he's stronger than you, Shizune." She'd sensed something extraordinary in his physique.

"Really?" Shizune questioned.

"Absolutely. That brat rivals even the genius Kakashi—how he trained, I don't know. He's a monster." Tsunade laughed, "Putting him with Orochimaru makes sense—two geniuses together."

"I see." Shizune nodded.

"The Chunin exam is coming. Tian Yuan will be a great help," Tsunade said, thinking of the upcoming trials. In truth, once Shizune's exam concluded, Tsunade planned to leave Konoha. Too many painful memories tied her here—if not for Shizune, she'd have wandered far sooner.

"All right, let's tidy up and return to the village." Tsunade declared.

"Yes, Tsunade Jonin." Shizune agreed.

"Tian Yuan, Orochimaru," Tsunade's eyes gleamed, "Orochimaru's grown darker these years—Tian Yuan, don't pick up that habit."

Elsewhere in the forest, a white-haired man watched a shadow streak across the sky. He rubbed his eyes—recognition dawned. It was Tian Yuan. "Impossible—that was Tian Yuan." Jiraiya thought back to his own battles. "Only Tsunade could knock him that far. He's outdone his master—I haven't even located him, and he's already found me."

"And Tsunade's strength—did she kill him? No—I have to check. My little brother can't be dead." Jiraiya muttered, setting off.
