On the Player System, the Standard-quality video turned out to be another Hokage Ninja clip. Indeed, the Hokage world brimmed with video signals.

"I hope this one gives me something good." Tian Yuan hesitated. The morning's censored adult video had shaken his faith in luck, but this signal was a legitimate Hokage Ninja fragment. He remembered the last Hokage Ninja clip had granted him an Elite Genin Experience Pack.

"Here's hoping for treasure." He rubbed his hands. "No—better wash up first."

A moment later, having rinsed his hands, Tian Yuan prepared for his "lottery." Everything was set; it was up to fate now.

Ding. "Congratulations. You have obtained the Two-Tomoe Sharingan." The announcement sounded like heaven's voice, and Tian Yuan couldn't suppress a laugh.

"I truly am the child of destiny." He grinned. The Sharingan was one of the Hokage Ninja's greatest bloodlines, later evolving into the Mangekyo and even the Rinnegan—insanely powerful.

"Use it immediately." Tian Yuan declared. Why waste such a gift? With two tomoe he could activate basic Sharingan powers: perceptive insight, copying jutsu, and massively enhanced dynamic vision.

Before him, two crimson tomoe swirled in his vision, then beams of blood-red light shot into his eyes. A tingle and faint ache bloomed in his gaze.

Moments passed and the pain faded. He opened his eyes to reveal the Uchiha clan's emblem—blood-red irises containing two spinning tomoe. If anyone knew an eight-year-old had awakened Two-Tomoe Sharingan, Konoha's Uchiha clan would hail him as the world's greatest prodigy.

"However…" Tian Yuan paused. "I don't share Uchiha blood, and my parents never had Sharingan."

That realization stung. Normally he couldn't use the Sharingan—otherwise the Uchiha might question how he acquired it. They could resort to lethal interrogation. In the ninja world, death came all too easily.

"But at least it's a trump card." He stood and studied his reflection in a nearby mirror, watching the twin tomoe fade back to ordinary pupils.

"Sharingan control feels surprisingly natural, and Chakra drain is minimal." He tested it. Unlike Kakashi's wildly taxing Sharingan, his inheritance granted him this bloodline natively—and with growth potential. He could evolve to three- tomoe, Mangekyo, and beyond.

Over the next few days, Tian Yuan studied at the Ninja Academy and scoured Konoha for every available Standard signal. Though many yields were worthless, some offered worthwhile treasures.

At a remote training field, he formed seals. "Shadow Clone Technique."

A perfect doppelgänger appeared at his side—unlike a mere Clone Technique, this shadow clone could fight, though it dissipated when struck. It also split his Chakra, risking exhaustion. Only ninjas with ample reserves dared use it.

"I must be cautious." Tian Yuan's face paled as he dispelled his clone. "Even with Genin-peak Chakra, this technique strains me."

He then launched into taijutsu. "Konoha Whirlwind." His legs became a spinning gale, striking a wooden post. Crack! The post shattered. His taijutsu had become formidable.

"Wow, Tian Yuan is incredible! Let's spar again." A broad-browed youth bounded over, flashing white teeth—Might Guy. Guy had met Tian Yuan here before and now clung to him eagerly.

"Guy, I have errands today. Next time." Tian Yuan slipped away. His strength was on par, but he didn't want to endure Guy's exuberant flattery.

"All right, Tian Yuan—I'll wait for you." Guy flashed a grin. "I'll just run a few laps around Konoha." And with that, he vanished.

"Guy, don't channel Kakashi's enthusiasm on me." Tian Yuan shook his head, recalling Guy's relentless energy. Better to keep moving.

"Tian Yuan." A graceful figure approached—Tsunade herself.

"Tsunade-sama." Tian Yuan bowed. She was one of Konoha's Legendary Sannin.

"Do you know how Jiraiya's been? Lately he's holed up at home, and when he emerges his eyes seem empty." Tsunade asked.

"Um…" Tian Yuan hesitated. He couldn't admit Jiraiya was obsessed with that censored video.

"I don't know—he should recover soon." Tian Yuan replied.

"If you have time, check on him. He thinks highly of you." Tsunade advised.

"I understand."

"I must go now." Tsunade departed.

"A new signal's up." Tian Yuan's eyes flicked to his map—another Standard-quality video, this time deep in the forest beyond Konoha.
