"Elite Martial Artist!"

Wind Wolf stared in shock at Ye Tian, hardly believing it.

Becoming an Elite Martial Artist had been his lifelong goal. But with only Basic-grade Cultivation Talent, it was nearly impossible.

Even talented Intermediate-grade Cultivation Talent Martial Artists need over twenty years with enough resources to reach Elite Martial Artist.

But Ye Tian was so young—already an Elite Martial Artist.

"High-grade Cultivation Talent!"

Wind Wolf realized.

That Talent level was on par with the Lin Family's elder ancestor—a guaranteed future Great Martial Artist, possibly surpassing that level, or at least reaching peak Great Martial Artist and becoming the strongest in Seaside Base.

Having such a genius in their squad was an honor.

Ye Tian moved with such speed that Wind Wolf could barely follow.

In moments, all ten Fire-Spitting Lizards lay dead by Ye Tian's blade—instantly killed.

"Lord Ye Tian!"

Wind Wolf respectfully bowed.

"Lord Ye Tian!" others followed suit.

Elite Martial Artists were far stronger—not just in strength, but in reflexes, speed, and Yuan Force capacity.

Even an Elite Martial Artist with 10,001 pounds strength was far superior to a Martial Artist capped at 9,999 pounds; they were on entirely different levels.

Before, they treated Ye Tian as a peer Martial Artist, but knowing he was an Elite Martial Artist, they grew more respectful and cautious.

"Don't be so formal. Just call me Ye Tian, but please keep my Elite Martial Artist status secret for now," Ye Tian said.

"Then I'll dare call you by your name!" Wind Wolf smiled. "Don't worry; we won't tell."

He understood Ye Tian's caution—likely wary of Seaside Base's powerful families.

If Ye Tian's Talent leaked, families might vie for or attack him out of jealousy. Even a slight risk warranted secrecy.

Once Ye Tian grew strong, those families would be nothing.

Suddenly, a scream came from afar.

"It's Zhang Ben!"

Wind Wolf frowned.

Zhang Ben was the Martial Artist who fled earlier, likely encountering more Fire-Spitting Lizards.

Wind Wolf wanted to rescue him, comrades and fellow Martial Artist as they were.

But Ye Tian stopped him:

"Wind Wolf, no need. We can keep my secret, but he can't."

Wind Wolf hesitated, saw others' expressions, and decided against rescue.

The scream soon ended—Zhang Ben was dead.

"Wind Wolf, let's press on and clear these Ferocious Beasts quickly!" Ye Tian urged.

Wind Wolf nodded; without Ye Tian, he wouldn't dare continue. One Elite Martial Artist could handle many Fire-Spitting Lizards.

They advanced and soon found Zhang Ben's corpse and several lizards feeding on it.

Ye Tian casually killed the lizards and moved on.

Whenever more than two lizards appeared, Ye Tian alone killed them; if only one appeared, Wind Wolf's team practiced.

Thus, they reached the valley's depths.

There, Ye Tian spotted many Fire-Spitting Lizards.

On a giant rock, he saw at least thirty, surrounding a much larger one.

"That is…" Ye Tian's expression tightened.

Though far and unclear, the huge lizard was clearly stronger than normal ones, about three meters larger.

"It should be an Intermediate-grade Ferocious Beast!" Ye Tian guessed.

Ordinary Intermediate-grade Ferocious Beasts didn't concern him, but one with an attack-type Talent was a true Ferocious Beast overlord.

"This is trouble. Thirty lizards and one likely Intermediate-grade Ferocious Beast!" Ye Tian informed Wind Wolf's group.

"What?!" Wind Wolf was shocked.

An Intermediate-grade Ferocious Beast Fire-Spitting Lizard would be extremely powerful; ordinary Elite Martial Artists wouldn't stand a chance.

"Ye Tian, let's retreat. We can abandon the mission if needed!" Wind Wolf said with gritted teeth.

They were reluctant but knew the danger.

Ye Tian was a newly minted Elite Martial Artist; how could he challenge an Intermediate-grade Ferocious Beast with Fire Talent?

"Wind Wolf, I'm not that weak. The lizard has Fire Talent; I have special Talent too!" Ye Tian revealed slightly.

"You… have special Talent?" Wind Wolf was shocked.

Martial Artists with special talents held higher status; even great Martial Artists respected them.

"Yes, I have Basic-grade Speed Talent, tripling my speed. My blade technique is good—I can kill that Intermediate-grade Ferocious Beast. I'll do a decapitation strike; stay back!" Ye Tian instructed.

He was confident but couldn't guarantee protecting Wind Wolf's team.

If they didn't listen, trouble would follow.

"We'll back off far. Be careful and retreat if needed!" Wind Wolf said.

"Understood!" Ye Tian nodded.

Once Wind Wolf's group moved far away, Ye Tian acted.

"Speed Talent!"

He activated triple speed and charged at the lizard pack.

Meanwhile, the large lizard leader, awakened by its subordinates' roars, fixed its huge pupils on Ye Tian.

It intended to kill the annoying little insect disturbing its rest!

Indeed, to it, Ye Tian was nothing but a tiny bug.
