"You're amazing, dear. I've never seen designs this beautiful." Madam Malkin exclaimed after carefully examining each drawing.

"Oh, it's all inspired by Muggle styles," Ye Ting modestly shook his head. "So, can I order a uniform like this?"

"Of course, I can't wait to see the finished product," Madam Malkin looked excited. Then, she hesitantly asked Ye Ting, "If... I mean, if you allow me to make uniforms of the same design for others, I'll happily provide you with a tailored uniform made of the finest materials for free every year during your seven years at Hogwarts. How does that sound?"

Madam Malkin looked at Ye Ting expectantly. After some thought, Ye Ting felt it wasn't a bad deal for him and readily agreed.

Next, they headed to Flourish and Blotts to purchase textbooks.

Ye Ting not only bought the full set of first-year textbooks but also acquired all the texts for Charms and Transfiguration up to seventh year. Additionally, the curious Ye Ting also picked up a copy of "Ancient Runes Made Easy" and "Hogwarts: A History."

"Though you're still young, I'm glad someone's interested in Ancient Runes," Dumbledore remarked upon seeing Ye Ting's choices. "Only two students took Ancient Runes last semester, which is too few. Miss Babbling will surely take a liking to you."

He later added, "But Ancient Runes can be a bit challenging, so be prepared mentally."

"I just want to study where magic truly comes from," Ye Ting picked up "Ancient Runes Made Easy" and flipped to the front cover. "This book says modern spells are simplified Ancient Runes, and the creation of magical objects is also related to Ancient Runes. I think by studying Ancient Runes, I can find out where the power of magic truly originates."

"I must say, you'll definitely end up in Ravenclaw." Dumbledore looked at him with satisfaction.

After inquiring about the meanings of each house, Ye Ting commented, "A wizard's power stems from magical knowledge, so only those who pursue knowledge can be true wizards. In this regard, Ravenclaw aligns well with my intentions."

After paying, Ye Ting was faced with a stack of thick books. His small backpack (relative to the size of the books) couldn't possibly hold them all. At a loss for what to do, Ye Ting turned to Dumbledore with a pleading look.

"You can use the Shrinking Charm to shrink the books and fit them into your backpack," Dumbledore pulled out his wand and tapped the pile of books lightly.

"Reducio."

The books immediately shrunk several times until each was the size of a fingernail. Himari, inside the backpack, curiosity got the better of her and she peered up to inspect the miniature books.

"If you want to restore them, the spell is 'Engorgio'." he added.

Interested, Ye Ting took out his new wand, mimicked Dumbledore's posture, tapped the tiny books, and recited the spell.

"Engorgio."

The books that were the size of fingernails suddenly swelled up until they were their original size. Himari, unprepared, got her nose smacked by one of the enlarged books and "meowed" in fright, retreating back into the backpack.

Ye Ting comforted her by patting her head. "Be careful, little one."

He then tried casting another spell on the books.

"Reducio."

Immediately, the books shrunk back to the size of fingernails.

Dumbledore watched in amazement. Ye Ting had only watched him cast the Reduction Charm once and had immediately picked it up, succeeding perfectly on his first try. Moreover, he could apply what he had learned and successfully cast the Enlargement Charm as well. Such talent and learning ability were unprecedented.

"Even though you've heard it several times today, I must say, you're truly a genius." he remarked.

Ye Ting put all the shrunk books into his backpack and reminded Himari not to play with them roughly before following Dumbledore to purchase other items.

At Potage's Cauldron Shop, he bought a large, tin-plated cauldron that could fold and stir automatically, a set of glass and crystal vials, a telescope, and a balance scale. Additionally, at the Magical Menagerie, he declined to buy an owl, intending to summon a creature for letter delivery himself. However, he splurged on some expensive cat food for Himari.

He believed that cat food for wizards might be more suitable for cat demon than Muggle food, hoping it would help Himari grow faster and awaken her demonic powers sooner.

These expenses emptied his once full purse, prompting him to resolve to make a fortune in the Muggle world during the next summer vacation, leveraging his prophetic abilities and magical powers. Failing to buy the best cauldron and experimental supplies made him feel unworthy of his status as a time traveler.

At Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour, Dumbledore treated Ye Ting to an ice cream while he bought a cockroach cluster for himself, making Ye Ting feel nauseated.

Finally, Dumbledore apparated Ye Ting near the orphanage. Before leaving, Dumbledore said to him, "Mr. Ye, you're a true genius and a kind-hearted young boy. I hope you use the power of magic wisely. Remember, it's not a person's strength but their choices that define them."

With that, he winked playfully and disappeared in front of Ye Ting.
