All three turned their heads to see two people stepping into the humble bun shop.

It was a young girl, about the same age as Lu Fan, accompanied by a man in his early twenties.

Judging by their attire, neither of them seemed to be from the Dragon Kingdom.

The girl was quite attractive—though perhaps not quite at Qin Qiu's level, she was still very pretty, with a sweet and delicate face framed by soft, gentle features. However, despite her sugary appearance, her expression was sharp and filled with arrogance and disdain, making her difficult to like.

The man trailing behind her had a tall, muscular build and wore a suit of black armor—clearly a combat-oriented class transfer, likely a warrior. From the way he moved and deferred to the girl, it was obvious he was her bodyguard.

As soon as the girl stepped inside, she scanned the shop with a look as though she were inspecting a pigsty. Her condescending gaze was deeply unpleasant.

The man beside her kept his head bowed as he muttered, "According to our investigation, this is definitely the place. Since the class in question is such a worthless one, it's no surprise the person we're looking for comes from a poor background."

"This is 'poor'?" the girl raised her eyebrows with a sneer. "Looks more like they live in a trash heap."

Her words made Lu Fan frown.

Han Ke, ever gracious, stood up and smiled politely as if she hadn't heard their ridicule. "Are you here to buy buns? Sorry, the shop's closed recently—we're not doing business for the time being…"

"Who would come here to eat?" the girl cut her off dismissively. "We're looking for someone. Is there a Lu Fan living here?"

Han Ke turned to Lu Fan in surprise. "Xiao Fan, are these friends of yours?"

Lu Fan got up and shook his head. "No. I don't know them."

He walked over to Han Ke and looked the girl up and down, frowning slightly. "I'm Lu Fan. Do we know each other?"

The girl looked him over, openly disdainful. "You're the one who transferred into the Dragon Tamer class?"

"Yes, that's me. And you are?"

She only snorted in response.

Instead, the man behind her stepped forward and said, "This is Her Highness Princess Jin Zhu of the Taiji Kingdom. I'm her escort, a Level 30 Guardian Knight, Cui Hongtai."

As he spoke, he publicly revealed his identity.

Cui Hongtai, Level 30 Guardian Knight.

He had already completed his second class advancement—clearly much stronger than first advancement swordsmen like Sun Ge.

Lu Fan was surprised to learn these were "foreign guests." He couldn't imagine why two people from the Taiji Kingdom, whom he had never met, had come all the way to Jianghai City asking for him by name.

At that moment, Qin Qiu stepped forward with a shocked expression and whispered to Lu Fan, "I've heard of this Jin Zhu. Yesterday my dad received a mission from higher authorities, saying the Taiji Kingdom's princess would be arriving to study abroad and landing in Jianghai City today."

"He personally went to the airport to meet her, but how is she here instead?"

Lu Fan glanced at the pair and whispered back, "Could they be pretending to be this Princess Jin Zhu to scam people?"

Qin Qiu shook her head. "No, I saw a photo of her yesterday—this is definitely the real one."

"She's really the Taiji Kingdom's princess?" Lu Fan found it hard to believe. "And she only has a single Level 30 escort with her? Why would she come to Jianghai City at all?"

Qin Qiu explained, "It's actually a rule. Anyone studying abroad in the Dragon Kingdom can't bring escorts above Level 30—even royalty isn't exempt."

"As for why she's here looking for you… My dad doesn't know either…"

Lu Fan nodded. It seemed more likely now that she really was the Taiji princess.

As for why she was looking for him—well, they were about to find out.

Qin Qiu, surprised by Jin Zhu's unexpected visit, told Lu Fan she was going upstairs to call her father.

After all, if the princess he was supposed to be receiving had somehow shown up here instead, something was definitely off.

Han Ke, now flustered knowing her guests were royalty from another country, quickly tried to invite Jin Zhu and Cui Hongtai to sit down.

But Cui Hongtai said coldly, "That won't be necessary. Her Highness doesn't like unclean places."

The comment left Han Ke awkwardly standing there—unable to sit, unable to speak.
