Ethan Wu's impression of Nathan Lou was actually quite positive. Nathan was known for his generosity, loyalty, and bravery, often going to great lengths for his friends. Although he had used various illicit means to establish his business empire, Ethan didn't judge him for it. Ethan, who had once spent a long time finding joy in helping others during his thousand-year loops, had even anonymously donated his entire savings to orphanages multiple times, knowing the money would be reset the next day.

In fact, Ethan had intervened in Nathan's fate several times, using his knowledge and abilities to help him through difficult moments, although he could never witness the full impact of his actions. For Ethan, it was a way to pass the time, something that kept him occupied and entertained.

But Nathan Lou's life was marked by a deep, dark secret that Ethan had uncovered over the course of countless resets—a secret that threatened not only Nathan's happiness but also his life. The problem lay not with his business but with his own family and personal life.

Nathan had started his empire through aggressive property acquisitions, and he had faced many dangerous disputes in his youth. At the age of 26, he had taken five knife wounds while protecting a friend, nearly dying in the hospital. He spent three months in recovery, and by the time he was discharged, doctors had told him he might never have children.

The doctors were right. Despite trying everything, including IVF treatments abroad, Nathan was unable to have children. This inability had been a source of pain and frustration for him, eventually leading to his divorce from his first wife.

But his life changed when he met Crystal Liu. At the time, she was one of his many mistresses. Miraculously, only three months after meeting him, she became pregnant, and eventually gave birth to a son. Nathan, overjoyed, conducted a paternity test that confirmed the child was his.

From then on, his life seemed complete. This was the reason for his boundless affection for Crystal; she was the one who had given him the heir he had always dreamed of. Spoiled by his unwavering support, Crystal had become increasingly arrogant and brash, feeling untouchable.

However, based on Ethan's extensive investigation across his endless loops, he knew that Nathan's son was not, in fact, his biological child.

It was all part of a scheme—a calculated, cold-blooded plot to seize the wealth of a billionaire.

Crystal and her so-called "cousin" Luke Liu had orchestrated the entire deception. Luke, who was not actually her cousin but rather an old flame from her hometown, shared the same last name, but they were unrelated by blood. Hailing from a small village, the two had concocted the scheme together after Luke initially took Crystal from their village and introduced her to the world of high-end prostitution.

Over the years, they targeted several wealthy men, with Crystal climbing higher and higher until she landed in Nathan's inner circle. They manipulated his desperation, knowing his condition was widely known in Sea City. Desperate for an heir, Nathan would entertain any possibility, trying every option available. So, Crystal "miraculously" became pregnant, and the baby boy—Luke's biological son—was born.

Luke had wormed his way into Nathan's business, securing a position of influence, all the while continuing his romantic relationship with Crystal. Nathan was entirely unaware of this twisted conspiracy to exploit his wealth and even, one day, potentially kill him. Luke had already considered the idea, though Crystal had convinced him to wait, fearing her position was not yet secure enough to outmaneuver Nathan's loyal associates.

Ethan had once abducted both Crystal and Luke in a single day, extracting every detail of their scheme. He knew it all.

As he whispered in Nathan's ear, Ethan recounted the horrifying truth with precise detail:

"Your son is Luke's child. Luke and Crystal are not cousins, and they share no blood relation. She came into your life as part of a setup. Your son doesn't resemble you, and deep down, you've noticed that, haven't you?"

Nathan's expression shifted, his doubts resurfacing as Ethan continued.

"Crystal's real name is Crystal Lian, from Liu's family village in Little River Town. She was brought to Sea City by Luke and worked as a 'professional' before her surgeries. He positioned her close to you on purpose, aware of your infertility, as was widely known. This is a setup, a trap they carefully planned. If you don't believe me, consider this—where was she yesterday afternoon?"

Ethan outlined Crystal's recent movements in explicit detail, noting how she had arranged to secretly meet Luke under the guise of a "business meeting."

"Look at yesterday's security footage from her office, or ask her directly. She'll likely claim she was working and that Luke can verify it. But in reality, she and Luke planned every step of this deception."

"But I ran a paternity test!" Nathan whispered back, attempting to defend his confidence in his son's identity.

"Paternity tests can be faked," Ethan replied coolly. "This was a setup from the start, and they knew you would test the child's DNA. That million-dollar 'pregnancy protection fee' you handed her went straight to Luke, who paid off the doctor to falsify the results. After the test, that doctor conveniently resigned and disappeared."

Ethan continued, advising Nathan on ways to confirm his suspicions by subtly "tricking" Crystal into revealing inconsistencies in her story.

Onlookers, including Isabella, watched in stunned silence, unable to decipher the details of the exchange. Isabella was particularly curious. What could Ethan possibly be saying to keep Nathan from losing his temper?

Finally, Ethan finished speaking, giving Nathan's back a reassuring pat as he returned to his seat, taking up his wine glass with a calm demeanor, his eyes studying the reactions around him.

Nathan slowly turned to face his wife, Crystal, his face unreadable.
