Fang Chen glanced briefly at the data and lost interest—he already knew the general situation.

Apex of Evolution was an unreasonable-grade talent. With just a bit of learning, he could grasp most abilities. After a month of focused training, many of his skills had upgraded to intermediate level.

Talent grades ranged from: Low, Normal, Intermediate, High, Superior, Excellent, Transcendent, Apex, and MAX.

Ability grades followed a ten-tier scale: Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, Special, Upper, Super, Destructive, Mythical, Primal, and MAX.

Of course, these ranks were based on distinctions from myth-level powers, and their effectiveness heavily depended on the user.

Though Fang Chen's current ability levels looked low—with only his Dragon Emperor-granted Flight reaching the fourth tier (Special)—he was still extremely young.

He had only been born for a month and already reached Tier 1 Dragonkin—something juvenile dragons were not supposed to achieve.

In human terms, he was equivalent to a Level 6 powerhouse. Although that was considered low-tier in this world, a Level 6 warrior could still take on 300 ordinary humans alone.

Which meant Fang Chen could now easily wipe out three hundred people—not bad, even if not particularly impressive.

With his now-sharpened dragon claws, Fang Chen scraped between his teeth to remove leftover meat strands.

Clink! A small dragon tooth fell to the ground.

"……"

He was losing baby teeth. Even though he already had combat power, he was still at the teething stage.

How long had it been since he last lost a tooth? Fang Chen sighed and stored the tiny fang in his system inventory.

Then he went to his training ground—a platform high up on the mountain peak.

Since his throat hadn't fully developed, Fang Chen trained silently to speed up his growth.

He wasn't worried about internal injuries. Dragonkin bodies were incredibly resilient.

This training would, in fact, improve his healing adaptability, speeding up recovery further.

He had chosen a remote section of the Magic Beast Mountain Range as his training site.

Because he had reincarnated from a human, he didn't share the innate laziness of Dragonkin.

Fang Chen knew full well that although Dragonkin were powerful, many had still been killed and turned into Armor.

After all, every part of a dragon was valuable. So, even after battle, Fang Chen always cleaned the area thoroughly.

Even his shed scales were collected—his pure-white scales were far too eye-catching to leave behind.

Fang Chen continued training relentlessly at his site. Though still a hatchling,

under the influence of Evolution, his body continued growing stronger.

Sharper claws, stronger bites, powerful slaps, tail whips, head swings.

Winged flight—every part of him needed training. Even a strong body would atrophy if not used.

While training, he didn't bother with the outside world. Even though most humans no longer posed a threat,

there were still things out there that could kill him. After training, he hunted.

He ventured into dangerous parts of the Magic Beast Forest. With his flight power,

his speed was unrivaled—no one in this world could catch him.

After a month of adapting to flight, Fang Chen began incorporating winged flight into his daily training.

He trained until dusk, then finally stopped and prepared to go out for a look around.

He focused on his Transformation MAX talent—that was the key to his growth.

So long as he killed or received something from an enemy, he could fully acquire all of their powers.

Over the next week, Fang Chen scoured the Magic Beast Forest in battle, hoping to find a suitable dragon species.

But he didn't encounter a single one. A trace of disappointment flickered in his eyes.

"Forget it. I know there's a world with many powerful dragons. I shouldn't waste time here."

After a week of hunting and confirming this world's dragon species were subpar, Fang Chen gave up the search.

Instead, he turned his attention to the Dragon Palace's system. Although his authority was low,

he could still access a few files. Unfortunately, the findings disappointed him.

Most Tier 1 Dragonkin lacked any special abilities. Many weren't even worthy of being called Lesser Dragons.

And Tier 1 dragons were the rarest in the Dragon Palace, so Fang Chen dropped the idea entirely.

"Phew… I really need to grow quickly and leave this world," Fang Chen muttered,

sitting atop the corpse of an Earth Lizard, exhaling in mild frustration.

This Earth Lizard, with its tough outer armor and sharp claws, was considered a powerhouse in the region.

Even Fang Chen had lost several scales in the battle. But through sheer grit, he defeated it.

Licking his wounds, Fang Chen glanced at his claw.

A palm-sized card was resting in it—already bound, created based on his talent.

The card's back had a pink base with a symbol resembling the Earth Lizard.

On the front was an image of the Earth Lizard itself, with a barcode on the left.

Below was its name and icon, which stirred a faint familiarity in Fang Chen's eyes.

"Well, the Dragonkin bloodline is very faint… but at least it qualifies."

This was an adult Earth Lizard. Its Dragonkin bloodline was weak, but it met the minimum threshold.

Fang Chen held the card tightly and narrowed his eyes before activating it.

The card suddenly expanded, becoming a phantom that automatically enveloped him.

The next instant, Fang Chen passed through the projection—his ethereal form gone.

In its place was a thickly armored creature. His wings vanished. His skin turned dark green.

His claws grew savage and sharp. Every organ now resembled that of an Earth Lizard.

Fang Chen clenched his new claws, inspecting his completely transformed body.

[…]

Even his system glitched for a moment—stunned by the sudden transformation.

Fang Chen opened his status window. All data had been rewritten.

Everything now matched the Earth Lizard's data, as if he had always been one.
