"Among all the Divine Beings, there are always some whom Chaos favors especially. When they are born, their Divine Power is exceptionally strong, transcending generations and far surpassing their peers."

At this point, Athena paused, her tone complex. "Mother once told me... I am one of them. My father... Zeus... was as well."

As she spoke that name, a flicker of hatred flashed in her eyes.

Bolos replied, "Don't dwell on it. If we get out of here one day, you must not show the slightest trace of hatred before you're strong enough to confront him."

The same went for Bolos himself. Unless his Tree of Life path reached the third stage, or his Occult System attained the status of an Old One, he wouldn't be able to openly oppose Zeus either.

"I understand," Athena nodded. Her mother Metis had warned her about this as well.

"Divine Beings like these—if they can survive to adulthood—are already immensely powerful."

"For Divine Beings, adulthood is unrelated to age or appearance. Once their Divine Power stops growing naturally, they are considered adults."

"Zeus reached the limit of his innate Divine Power very quickly."

"Let's move on to the second blessing." The first blessing, being determined entirely by bloodline and fate, held little interest for Bolos.

"The second Divine Power Blessing occurs when a Divine Being gains a Divine Office."

Athena's tone grew solemn again. "To obtain a Divine Office, a Divine Being usually needs the blessing of either one of the Five Primordial Sovereigns or the ruling King of the Gods."

"So not just me—even you, if you want to grow stronger, must first obtain a Divine Office from Zeus."

Bolos nodded thoughtfully.

It was likely that Gaia, Tartarus, Nyx, and others as the Primordials, had granted Zeus the authority to bestow the most Divine Offices.

Athena was surprised that Bolos didn't object at all, so she continued explaining the knowledge related to Divine Power Blessings.

"After the second blessing, Divine Power evolves based on the Divine Office. Divine Beings then begin to take different paths. Some choose to focus on a single Divine Office, while others seek to embody multiple."

Bolos asked, "So which is better—focusing on one Divine Office or embracing many?"

Athena shook her head. "I don't know. I don't even have one yet. But Mother said each has its advantages. The former is simpler, and more Divine Beings choose it."

"Most Divine Beings possess complex and mixed Divine Power attributes, and since Divine Offices are limited—and some even conflict with each other—one must eventually make a choice."

"Mother once told me that when it comes to aligning Divine Power with Divine Offices—or the divergence between the two—the Twelve Titans of the previous Divine Realm conducted deep research during the ordering of the world."

"For instance, our grandparents specialized in domains related to the deep ocean. Our aunt Amphitrite inherited that focus, and even surpassed them. As for Mother, she concentrated on the Divine Power of Wisdom early on, abandoning any effort to enhance her oceanic powers."

The way Athena said "our" made Bolos roll his eyes. He was only maintaining the form of an infant to conserve Divine Power—did she really consider him her little brother?

Athena continued, "Mother once said, if you ever wish to enhance your oceanic Divine Power, you might ask Aunt Amphitrite for help. Before she was swallowed by Zeus, she was being pursued by the King of the Seas, Poseidon."

"Perhaps by the time we get out, Aunt will already be the Queen of the Seas."

Bolos could already confirm this. "Amphitrite did indeed become Poseidon's wife. She is now this generation's Queen of the Seas."

"If Mother knew that, she'd be pleased." Athena sighed and continued, "Regardless of what Divine Office a Divine Being chooses, the goal is to become a Supreme God as soon as possible."

"Supreme God?"

Hearing this term intrigued Bolos.

"Yes. Becoming a Supreme God, establishing subordinate deities, and forming your own pantheon—that's when you receive the third Divine Power Blessing."

"Mother never reached that level, so she couldn't teach me what comes after."

"That's enough."

Bolos now understood this world's hierarchy.

It was a bit rough and vague, but in the mythological and primitive age, precision wasn't necessary.

From then on, Bolos and Athena continued to live inside Zeus's internal space.

Unlike Bolos, who lay around recovering his Divine Power, Athena spent her time practicing combat techniques with the divine spear Metis had left her.

She tried to teach Bolos how to use Divine Power and Divine Artifacts, but he refused.

He didn't want to waste his hard-earned Divine Power on such things.

It's not like he had nothing to do-

The Tree of Life's cultivation method didn't just offer a path to elevate Divine Beings' Godhood; it also included methods for using Divine Power.

In other words, Bolos now had a path (Dao), a method (Fa), and practical techniques (Shu).

At present, he was studying a method of Divine Power usage called the Ten Arts of Fate.

These arts were:

Grand Salvation Art, Grand Annihilation Art, Grand Transformation Art, Grand Light Art, Grand Blessing Art, Grand Decree Art, Grand Disaster Art, Grand Resurrection Art, Grand Teleportation Art, and Grand World Art.

Born from inner faith and powered by Divine Power, these arts could influence the fate of heaven and earth.

Once all ten were mastered and unified, they became the Grand Destiny Art.

Compared to melee combat with a Divine Artifact, Bolos preferred being a spellcaster.

The Ten Arts of Fate were incredibly profound. The ones Bolos found easiest to learn were Grand Annihilation Art, Grand Transformation Art, and Grand Blessing Art.

His favorite, Grand Teleportation Art, was completely inaccessible for now.

So he gave up on escaping with Divine Magic for the moment and turned his attention to studying the three simpler ones.

He had a hunch that the other two goddesses who had received withered branches from the Tree of Life would, like Metis, summon him one day.

When that time came, he could use the Tree of Life's power to follow the path and escape from within Zeus's body.

Sure enough, just a few months later, the Tree of Life began to emit strange lights.

A voice came from the tree—not just Bolos, but even Athena heard it:

"Mysterious foreign Divine Being, you are the bearer of the ancient Tree of Life and the protector of the future. I offer all that I am to you—please protect my children, allow them to be born safely and grow up in peace."

"This is…"
