Boom!

The entire world shook violently, as if a massive earthquake had swept across the continent.

But this was no earthquake—it was a volcanic eruption that triggered the tremors of the earth.

From the erupting magma and fire that shot into the sky, Bolos saw a colossal dragon with a hundred heads, as massive as a mountain.

Each of its heads resembled different beasts—some like lions, others leopards, bulls, or wild boars. A hundred beasts gathered together, grotesque and wild, with only the central head resembling a human.

Around each head, tens of thousands of venomous snakes formed its hair.

The serpentine hair flared open in rage, and along with the one hundred massive arms like giant pythons, they blotted out the entire sky.

Its serpentine lower body burst forth from the Ourea Mountains, leaving deep chasms in the earth wherever it passed. Venom dripped from its fangs, corrupting the surrounding mountains in filth.

"What a true Ancestor of All Beasts. Mother Earth Gaia and the abyss Tartarus really did give birth to a fine child. No wonder the first King of the Gods, Uranus, had to imprison him."

"It seems it wasn't just about Gaia cheating on her husband and son with the abyss."

Typhon, finally freed, let out a thunderous roar in the skies. One of his heads spoke in human language, while the others howled like wolves, roared like lions, bellowed like bulls, hissed like snakes, and growled like leopards. The chaotic cacophony shook the entire universe.

In the Underworld, where Zeus was finalizing terms with the King of the Underworld, Hades, he was startled by the deafening noise.

Startled and enraged, he cried out, "Who released Typhon?!"

Since becoming the King of the Gods, Zeus had visited the Ourea Mountains and seen Typhon imprisoned within the volcano. He had felt his terrifying Magic Power and heard his voice.

Now, he immediately realized—some Divine Being had set Typhon free.

But among the gods of the Underworld, no one had an answer for him.

He turned to the King of the Underworld. "Hades, our agreement stands. Let Demeter or Persephone take your place as one of the twelve Supreme Gods of Olympus."

"Persephone will spend half the year with you in the Underworld, and the other half above in the mortal realm."

Hades's expression darkened, but seeing the Queen of the Gods by Zeus's side and the numerous Divine Beings from the realm of night—Death, Sleep, Poverty, Discord, Deceit, and more—he had no choice but to silently nod.

Zeus had offered the souls of his Silver Humans to the Lady of the Night, Nyx, to help complete her domain. In return, she granted him loyalty from her children.

These Divine Beings would now go to the mortal world and proclaim Zeus as the King of the Gods.

Zeus even "generously" left the twin brothers—Death and Sleep—to serve Hades as his subordinate gods.

"Don't worry," Zeus said. "When the next batch of human souls is sent to Tartarus, the generation after that will be destined for the Underworld after death. That will strengthen your Authority."

Zeus wasn't just pressuring Hades—he was also providing support, leaving Hades with no room to refuse.

The two kings—one proud and satisfied, the other reluctantly accepting.

But their two sisters were far less content.

Hestia still brooded over Zeus's casual annihilation of the entire Silver Humans race, feeling only disappointment and resentment.

Demeter grieved at the thought of her daughter having to spend half of every year in the cold Underworld.

As for being offered a seat as a Supreme God of Olympus, neither mother nor daughter truly cared for it. They only wished to be happy together.

Zeus, however, disregarded their feelings, thinking he had already treated his siblings generously.

He didn't linger in the Underworld, heading straight to the mortal world.

Hestia, Demeter, and Persephone also departed, with many of Nyx's children following behind them.

Among them was a young girl named Hecate, the youngest daughter of the Lady of the Night. Though Nyx hadn't granted her any Divine Office, she had assigned the Goddess of Shooting Stars, Astraea, to guard her personally.

Hestia had even heard Hecate sometimes call the Goddess of Shooting Stars "Mother," and Astraea never objected.

It was obvious that this had Nyx's approval.

"This girl might be… unusual," Hestia thought to herself, feeling an inexplicable sense.

Back in the mortal world, things played out just as Polo had expected.

The hundred-headed dragon Typhon, whom he had rescued, refused to help him become the King of the Gods.

This Ancestor of All Beasts laughed wildly. "The position of King of the Gods should belong to the son of Gaia and Tartarus—the most noble bloodline of all Divine Beings—not to a junior like you."

"However, since you helped me, once I become the King of the Gods, I will make you the new King of the Seas, ruler of the Seas."

Bolos smiled faintly. This monster had quite the imagination.

He had just been released, and already he was planning how to divide power.

Bolos said nothing more and left the Ourea Mountains, heading toward the sea.

In the time to come, with a monster like Typhon on the loose, the heavens and the earth would surely be thrown into chaos.

Just as well—while the gods of Olympus were occupied fighting Typhon, he could help the Queen of the Seas, Amphitrite, complete several key rituals.

After Bolos departed, a weary voice echoed within the Ourea Mountains: "Mother, is this the fourth generation of King of the Gods you have chosen?"

Gaia's voice soon followed: "Do you think I would still be willing to let the descendants of Uranus become the King of the Gods?"

"I helped Uranus win the War of Ignorance and become King of the Gods. And what did he do? He cruelly forced the Hundred-Handed Giants back into my womb, causing me unbearable pain."

"I aided Cronus in seizing the throne with the scythe and becoming the King of the Gods. And what did he do? He used the Authority of the King of the Gods to constantly suppress the evolution of the Earth, stalling my divine path for years."

"I secretly supported Zeus in winning the Titanomachy and becoming the King of the Gods. And what does he do? He aids Nyx and Tartarus in the shadows, giving them the chance to interfere in the mortal world."

Gaia's tone turned from gentle to cold: "In the future, even if the world no longer has a King of the Gods, the descendants of Uranus must not be allowed to claim the throne again."

"This newborn Divine Being is shrouded in a mist even I cannot fully discern. I need him to clash with Zeus, to spark war among the descendants of Cronus."

"There are already too many Divine Beings in the world. The next battle for the title of King of the Gods cannot be like those in the past, where the losers were merely exiled or imprisoned—almost no blood spilled."

"Let Typhon take the lead. I will usher in a crimson era for this father-and-son conflict."

After Gaia's long declaration, the ancient mountain god Ourea let out a long sigh.

Ever since his revered elder brother abandoned the throne of the King of the Gods and departed beyond the realms, he—being the one most intimately tied to the Earth—had lost all standing to defy Mother Earth.

Ourea could only watch coldly, to see what kind of era this crimson one would become.
