Bolos had already received his second Divine Power blessing. By his own classification, he could now be considered a mid-ranked god.

The goddess within the shell, however, had not yet emerged into the world and was, at best, a low-ranked god.

As soon as he was seized by the goddess inside, Bolos activated his Divine Power, intending to break free.

But he quickly realized that the Divine Power surging from that slender arm far surpassed his own, both in quantity and in quality.

"You've got to be kidding me…"

Before he could react, Bolos—along with his Staff of Life—was pulled into the white shell.

The shell closed shut once more.

A pair of soft, boneless arms and a searing hot body had already entwined around him.

Faced with this situation, Bolos put up no resistance—nor did he want to.

He understood perfectly well that the goddess inside the shell was the not-yet-born, future Goddess of Love and Beauty, Aphrodite—almost universally acknowledged in Greek Myths as the most beautiful Supreme God.

With such a golden opportunity right in front of him, how could he let it go? That would be a disgrace to his former title as a "Demonic Overlord."

And so, Bolos surrendered himself to the ecstasy of the moment.

One day passed. Then another…

A full half month went by, spent entirely in intermittent cycles of indulgence.

At first, Bolos was thoroughly enjoying himself. After all, he had spent five years on Mount Olympus appearing as a minor.

At most, he had only managed some fleeting pleasure with Hera.

Now, he could finally feast instead of merely sample.

But even the finest delicacies—like abalone every day—grow tiresome without conversation or other distractions.

Yet this goddess seemed utterly unresponsive, wholly consumed by lust. She refused any communication, only pulling him back whenever he had rested enough.

Her power was utterly overwhelming—she was born as a Supreme God, far beyond Bolos's capacity to resist or reject.

"I really underestimated Aphrodite…"

Bolos, during a brief moment of rest, thought back to how Aphrodite would later be known on Olympus as a Supreme God famed for her "fragility."

She couldn't even control her own marriage, forced to wed the old and ugly god of fire and forging, Hephaestus.

Powerless to resist, she resorted to infidelity.

In terms of power, Bolos had never really looked up to her.

Compared with Hera, Athena, Artemis—aside from her beauty, she seemed inferior in nearly every way.

Now, Bolos understood that at least in terms of raw strength at birth, Aphrodite surpassed Athena and Artemis, and perhaps even Hera.

He deduced that when Aphrodite was first conceived, the original King of the Gods, Uranus, must have granted her a Divine Office using his Authority in his final moments.

That was how she possessed Supreme God-level strength while still inside this shell.

"Technically, that would make her something like my great-aunt," Bolos mused.

As Zeus's son, he was Uranus's great-grandson. Aphrodite, being Uranus's youngest daughter, was the half-sister of Cronus, Zeus's father.

Of course, Bolos didn't care one bit about divine family trees—such things didn't matter in Greek Myths.

Right now, all he wanted was to bring an end to this endless and overwhelming "battle." He was feeling a bit outmatched.

While taking one of his rare breaks, Bolos finally managed to manipulate the Staff of Life and draw back the Law that had been emanating from it.

When Aphrodite came upon him again, he immediately noticed a difference.

The raw animal lust in her was fading, replaced slowly by divine and human traits. Bolos even found her suddenly shy and awkward—an unexpected rarity.

"O wielder of the Staff of Desire… may I know your name?"

At last, Aphrodite spoke. Bolos involuntarily paused at her words.

Then, still in motion, he replied, "My name is Bolos, God of Opportunity and Creation."

"I am Aphrodite."

"I know."

"Could you perhaps stop using that staff? I haven't yet fully integrated the Divine Office of Desire into my Divine Power system—I can't resist my father's artifact."

Hearing this, Bolos couldn't help but grow curious. Embracing her, he teased, "Of course I can. Why don't you tell me more about yourself? We haven't even spoken yet."

They had communicated before—just not through words or emotions, but through actions.

Though Aphrodite wielded Supreme God-level power, she seemed somewhat apprehensive of Bolos—or perhaps, of the staff he controlled.

Following his lead, she began to recount her story.

In truth, there wasn't much to say.

Since she had begun gestating within this shell, she had never stepped outside. She had spent her time increasing her Divine Power and mastering her Divine Office.

Her Divine Office had been granted by Uranus—the first King of the Gods—in the final moments before he lost his Authority. It covered domains such as love, beauty, and desire.

And her Divine Power aligned perfectly with these Offices.

Additionally, what could be considered her mother—Thalassa, the primordial Queen of the Seas—had passed on ocean-related Divine Power. But those powers had no matching Divine Office.

That didn't hinder Aphrodite's growth. The shell itself, formed from the lower half of primordial Queen Thalassa, complemented the "Magic Gold-Banded Cudgel" from Uranus perfectly.

The shell was a Divine Artifact, shielding Aphrodite from being discovered by other Divine Beings.

But it also prevented her from leaving.

And so, Aphrodite spent the entire era of Titan rule inside that shell, eventually cultivating Supreme God power and preparing to emerge.

For now, she had only fully mastered the Divine Office of Beauty, which allowed her to call upon the power of Heaven and Earth.

She wasn't in a rush to leave. Instead, she wanted to fully master the Divine Office of Love as well and reach Supreme God level with that too.

Then, with those two Offices as her foundation, she would build her own pantheon.

She had never known that her father Uranus's treasured artifact had remained outside—until Bolos, through the Tree of Life, refined the treasure and triggered its Law.

Aphrodite possessed corresponding Divine Power, and even a matching Divine Office, but she had never devoted herself to exploring them.

Once Bolos triggered the Law, the shell began to resonate with the ancient relic.

That was when she lost all sense of self and became utterly consumed by endless waves of desire.

If not for Bolos's strong "will," reining in the Law drawn forth by the staff, things might not have ended so quickly.
