"Die." Ulquiorra's eyes were void of any emotion, his face cold and indifferent, as if he were casually crushing a mere ant.
At his command, a sudden flash of energy burst from his fingertips.
A violent explosion erupted where Ulquiorra and the others stood. The ground fractured in layers, buildings collapsed, and within moments a one-kilometer radius around Ulquiorra became a wasteland—utter devastation.
"Did he escape?" Ulquiorra's normally indifferent eyes flickered with a trace of emotion.
Just as his attack was about to hit the Elder with the great sword, a familiar energy suddenly appeared, and the Elder vanished from Ulquiorra's sight.
"Impressive." Ulquiorra looked up, his gaze seemingly piercing through the layers of buildings, resting on the highest rooftop of Holy Land Mary Geoise.
Atop the building, the space shimmered like a ripple. The Elder with the great sword fell out from this spatial distortion, weak and gasping for breath.
"Are you alright?" The blond Elder hurried over, helping him up with concern.
They had known each other for decades; there was some bond between them.
"I'm fine…" The Sword Elder slowly opened his eyes, coughing violently. "That guy is definitely at Four Emperors level, absolutely..."
He couldn't finish his sentence and coughed again fiercely.
"Has the Marine Headquarters arrived yet?" The blond Elder looked up sharply, questioning the others.
"They're still on the way." One Elder replied.
"Damn it."
High above in the sky, Ulquiorra suddenly appeared beside Ye Chen in an instant.
"How was it?" Ye Chen asked, having watched the fight. Ulquiorra had completely dominated the Elder with the great sword—total suppression, like a general overpowering a colonel.
"Not bad," Ulquiorra said, "About the same level as Esdeath." He paused. "But he just sensed a spatial energy."
"Spatial energy?" Ye Chen's eyes flickered strangely.
Ulquiorra nodded, "The fluctuation was faint, but I could clearly feel it."
If Ulquiorra was right, that meant among the Five Elders there was someone who could control space—a spatial ability user. In other words, someone who had eaten a spatial fruit.
"Hiding it well, huh? They even have a spatial fruit user." Ye Chen smiled but didn't seem too concerned.
Esdeath could freeze time and space, Ulquiorra could break spatial barriers, and Ye Chen could manipulate space at will.
So the Sovereign crew, no matter what unknown abilities their opponents had—even the strange spatial one—weren't particularly afraid.
Still, Ye Chen understood this spatial user was likely the Elders' trump card.
"Lord Ye Chen, what are we doing now?" Esdeath asked.
As a battle-hungry fighter, Esdeath was itching to jump in, but Ye Chen had stayed silent, so she held back—for now. Now that Ulquiorra was back, she couldn't help herself.

"Why have they stopped moving?"

"Damn scoundrels! Daring to hover in the air—that's a provocation to us."
"Should we summon the national treasure to kill them?"
One Elder spoke, while the others fell silent.
The current situation was dire for them. Although the five Elders were strong, Sovereign's lowest member was already at the peak of Admiral level. Most importantly, the Celestial Dragons below hadn't fully evacuated, so they dared not act rashly.

Kizaru glanced at Akainu, "Then you go first."
The implication: "Not me."
But that was just Kizaru's teasing. If he really didn't want to fight, he wouldn't have come.
They were all prepared to fight to the death with Ye Chen.
Sengoku's calm eyes gazed at the massive figure in the sky.
"Hope we all come back alive this time."
