A Thought

"Osiris, can you carry this pirate ship?" Ye Chen lowered his head and asked Osiris, who was coiled around him.

Osiris lifted his head, glanced at the Kuja Pirates' ship, and nodded slightly.

Seeing Osiris agree, Ye Chen immediately ordered, "Carry that pirate ship back to Daughter Country."

As soon as the words fell, Osiris flew off Ye Chen's body, suddenly expanding hundreds of times in size and circling in the air.

The massive dragon cast a shadow over the nearby area.

At the other end of the dock, Sengoku and Garp watched with concern as Zephyr and Kizaru were helped aboard the ship.

At that moment, a shout rang out: "It's that red dragon!"

Both Garp and Sengoku trembled, suddenly turning their heads and looking up toward the sky.

In the direction of the west coast, an enormous red dragon circled in the air. Though far away, Sengoku and Garp instantly recognized it as Ye Chen's mount.

Why could they recognize it at a glance? Because in the whole world, there was only one red dragon.

"Ye Chen, what the hell is that bastard trying to do?" Sengoku's eyes blazed with fury as he shouted.

He hadn't expected Ye Chen, who had already left earlier, to return the same way and show up again at the Sabaody Archipelago.

Last time, they had paid the price of twenty Devil Fruits just to send Ye Chen off — were they going to have to pay another twenty this time?

"Sengoku, let's go see for ourselves," Garp said, clenching his fists, his eyes fixed sternly on Osiris.

Sengoku was surprised to see Garp so serious; he hadn't seen the Marine Headquarters hero like this in years. The heavy injuries to Kizaru and Zephyr must have ignited his fury.

Sengoku nodded heavily: "Alright, I'll go with you."

Without hesitation, Garp and Sengoku used their Moonwalk technique, sprinting swiftly toward the west coast.

The surrounding Marine Headquarters soldiers couldn't see their figures clearly; it felt like a gust of wind blew past, and they were gone.

"Major, Fleet Admiral Sengoku and Vice Admiral Garp..." a Marine Headquarters soldier cautiously asked a nearby Major.

The Major glared at him: "Don't ask unnecessary questions. Hurry and get the wounded inside."

This time, the battle between Ye Chen, Esdeath, Osiris, and Kizaru, Zephyr, and Garp had been fierce. Half of the area was reduced to ruins.

Many Marine Headquarters soldiers, though not fighting directly, suffered injuries from the battle's aftermath.

Some even had worse luck, falling seriously wounded.

When gods fight, mortals suffer.

Meanwhile, Osiris carried the Kuja Pirates' ship on his back. To prevent it from falling, Ye Chen had ordered Osiris to stabilize it with divine power.

Seeing everything settled, Ye Chen nodded with satisfaction.

He had originally wanted Osiris to swallow the pirate ship whole, which would have been simpler, but Osiris' mouth space was too small to contain the ship. There was no choice but to carry it on his back.

"Osiris, let them board," Ye Chen shouted.

Osiris growled softly, extending a claw to the shore.

"Get on," Ye Chen smiled at Lisa and the others.

Lisa and the rest hurried to jump up.

At that moment, a distant roar sounded. Esdeath and Ye Chen exchanged glances and turned their heads.

Not far off, Sengoku and Garp appeared, stepping mid-air, each stride spanning tens of meters.

"Sengoku and Garp... what are they doing coming here?" Ye Chen looked on with some confusion as the two approached.

"Ye Chen, do you think they will make a move?" Esdeath said, still restless after the earlier battle. This warrior loved fighting, and her senses told her these two were even stronger than those they'd just fought.

Ye Chen thought for a moment and said, "Let's wait and see. If they attack, we'll respond."

"Alright." Esdeath nodded.

"Lord Ye Chen, aren't you coming up?" Lisa asked.

Ye Chen suddenly realized Lisa and Osiris seemed to be waiting for them to board.

"You all go first." Ye Chen smiled and then shouted to Osiris: "Osiris, let them up first."

Osiris immediately grabbed Lisa and the others, placing them on his back.

Soon after, Sengoku and Garp rushed over.

"Ye Chen, what exactly are you trying to do?!" Sengoku roared as soon as he landed.

With Zephyr and Kizaru seriously wounded and the loss of twenty Devil Fruits, Sengoku was already burning with anger.

They gave the Devil Fruits, and yet Ye Chen didn't leave — he even swaggered back to the dock. How could Sengoku not be furious?

"Sengoku, you and Garp come all this way just to ask that?" Ye Chen retorted.

"That's right." Sengoku gritted his teeth.

Ye Chen shrugged, a trace of helplessness in his tone: "If that's all, then you might be disappointed. We have no intentions."

"Do you think we'll believe that?" Sengoku shouted angrily.

Ye Chen's expression instantly turned cold: "I don't care if you believe it or not."

"You..." Sengoku's face flushed red and his whole body trembled.

At that moment, Garp stepped forward and patted Sengoku's shoulder. Sengoku looked over and saw Garp shaking his head.

Taking a deep breath, Sengoku's expression gradually calmed.

Garp stepped forward and said gravely, "Ye Chen, what exactly is your intention?"

"Intention?" Ye Chen smiled: "You Marines have been chasing and trying to kill me all along. Now you're asking me what my intentions are? Old Man Garp, don't you think that's a little ridiculous?"
