A Thought

"Finally… The land of Wano."

Ye Chen looked at the flag fluttering ahead and couldn't help but feel amazed. Without Sky Dragon, there was no way he could have made it from Daughter Country to The land of Wano in just half a day.

Normally, a pirate ship would take at least half a month to complete that journey—even the warships of Marine Headquarters were no faster.

Sailing the seas meant dealing with storms, whirlpools, and countless variables—but not for Sky Dragon.

"Little Sky, head to the harbor."

Ye Chen had given the name Little Sky to Sky Dragon because the full name was too long and troublesome.

Apparently, Sky Dragon was quite pleased with the nickname.

"Roar."

Sky Dragon let out a low growl and turned toward the harbor.

Though called a "country," The land of Wano was in fact just a small island, not much different in size from Daughter Country—except that Daughter Country was clearly stronger.

Moments later, Sky Dragon descended from the sky and landed at the harbor of The land of Wano.

The harbor stretched in a straight line. Rows of ships were docked—around a dozen in total, most of them merchant vessels.

Among them, several ships stood out. They were much larger than the others, and the flags they flew were even more eye-catching.

A hoofprint-like emblem waved in the wind.

It was the symbol of the Celestial Dragons: the Heavenly Dragon's Hoof Mark.

"Little Sky, go down," Ye Chen ordered.

The massive dragon, hundreds of meters long, descended with a roar. Its sheer size blocked out the sky, casting a huge shadow over the dock.

"What is that monster?"

"That's a dragon…"

"Why is it here?"

The people at the harbor went pale with fear at the sight of what looked like a divine beast.

Some even collapsed on the ground, trembling, their eyes filled with terror.

"Who's in charge of Celestial Gold here?"

As everyone cowered in fear, a voice rang out from atop Sky Dragon.

"I am!" a fat man with large ears shouted from one of Celestial Gold's ships.

"Little Sky, go to that ship," Ye Chen said, pointing at the man.

"Roar."

Sky Dragon growled, shifting its huge body and arriving on the Celestial Gold vessel in an instant.

It lowered its head. Ye Chen, sitting atop it, looked around until his eyes landed on the fat man who had just spoken.

"So, you're the one in charge of Celestial Gold?"

"I'm Haas, the supervisor for this transport," the man replied.

When Haas saw Ye Chen, his eyes flickered with surprise. He hadn't expected someone who could control a beast like Sky Dragon to be so young.

He had imagined some renowned Great Pirate—but this? The gap between expectation and reality made Haas sneer inwardly.

Ye Chen naturally noticed the contempt in Haas's eyes, but he didn't care. His priority was rescuing Hancock.

"Hand over the three little girls you took from the Kuja Pirates a few days ago." Ye Chen didn't waste words.

"So you're here for them."

Haas immediately understood. He had indeed taken three girls from Kuja, who were now being held in the ship's cabin.

But giving them up? Impossible.

Once something fell into their hands, it became property of the Celestial Dragons—there was no such thing as giving it back.

"There are no little girls here. You must be mistaken," Haas said coldly, not even bothering to hide his impatience.

Anyone taken aboard their ship belonged to the Celestial Dragons. And with that backing, Haas was confident Ye Chen wouldn't dare touch him.

But would that really be the case?

"Little Sky, kill him."

Ye Chen couldn't be bothered to continue. There were plenty of people on Celestial Gold's ships—he'd make an example out of one and see if the rest still had the same attitude.

At his command, Sky Dragon swung its massive claw at Haas.

With a loud boom, Haas was instantly crushed into pulp. Blood and gore splattered across the entire deck.

The crew of Celestial Gold were stunned. Their faces turned deathly pale. Some collapsed onto the deck in terror—some even wet themselves.

They couldn't believe it. Someone had actually dared to attack them.

They were Celestial Gold—the representatives of the Celestial Dragons.

Even Great Pirates with bounties in the hundreds of millions wouldn't dare touch them.

"Next," Ye Chen said calmly from atop Little Sky.

Three minutes passed. No one replied.

Ye Chen's patience ran out. "I won't ask again. Is there another Celestial Gold supervisor here? If not, you'll all end up like him."

"M-my lord… I'm the vice-captain of this transport."

A thin, trembling man stepped forward.

Ye Chen looked at him. "Hand over the three girls from the Kuja Pirates."

"M-my lord, I've already given orders to have them brought out," the man stammered.

After witnessing Ye Chen kill Haas without hesitation, he didn't dare put up a fight.

He wasn't about to gamble his life.

"You're far more sensible than Haas," Ye Chen said with a smile. "By the way—do you have any Devil Fruits on board?"

"Y-yes… three of them. They were tributes from other countries."

The thin man was almost in tears. He didn't dare lie—worried that displeasing Ye Chen would cost him his life.

At the same time, he silently cursed Haas.

Ye Chen had only come to reclaim the three girls. But now, thanks to Haas's arrogance, Ye Chen wanted Devil Fruits too.

Every tribute was carefully recorded, and if anything went missing, someone would be held responsible.

With Haas dead, that responsibility would surely fall on him.
