The rewards were truly abundant.

As expected, slaying a boss was hands down the fastest way to rake in resources—no exceptions.

Among the standard loot was also a Beastkin Soul Core, an essential material for upgrading the Beastkin Altar.

Unfortunately, there was only one. The rahead would be long.

After packing away all of the Orc King's drops, Lin Chen began making his way into the orc settlement.

Of course, before doing so, he didn't forget to assign his Griffin Knights and Windrunner Archers to nearby resource points outside the orc camp for harvesting.

As a qualified lord, every minute and every second had to be managed with perfection.

In other words, the so-called—Master of Time Management.

Once everything was arranged, Lin Chen brought along fifty Windrunner Archers for protection and entered the orc village.

Based on Era of Lords' usual design, the most valuable items were typically hidden within these areas.

The structures here were few in number but incredibly massive and crudely built.

There was zero aesthetic to speak of—just randomly scattered here and there.

Lin Chen didn't mind. He started inspecting each building one by one.

After searching several filthy and disorganized huts, he finally found the warehouse.

And inside was a mountain of stacked resources.

Wood, stone, iron, and gold.

No hesitation—he took it all.

"You've obtained Wood ×50,000."

"You've obtained Stone ×50,000."

"You've obtained Gold ×50,000."

Altogether, he had gathered over three million basic resources.

There was also food—mostly dried meat and such—about 200,000 units.

Lastly, there were rare materials:

Wolf Fang ×5,320 – taken.

Obsidian ×856 – taken.

Tiger's Eye ×568 – taken.

These were all special materials representing various elemental attributes.

In the mid-to-late stages of the game, they could be used for potion crafting, equipment enchanting, and even constructing or upgrading special buildings.

In short—if it was useful, it was coming with him.

After sweeping every last bit of the warehouse, Lin Chen found some equipment as well—mostly bronze and silver grade, with a few pieces of gold. No platinum or higher, though.

Soon, the entire warehouse had been emptied.

Exiting, Lin Chen continued exploring and eventually reached the tribe's grand hall.

Atop the throne sat a glowing orange chest.

As expected, the final treasure was here.

Without hesitation, he opened it.

"You've opened an Orange Chest. Rewards: Basic Resources ×2,000,000, Platinum-Grade Equipment Chest ×2, Tier-6 Beastkin Troops[Furious Blood Orc], Random Troop Chest ×1, Subject Refresh Card ×20, Resource Point Transfer Scroll ×50, Beastkin Soul Core ×3, Treasure Map ×1."

As he had guessed, the Tier-6 Furious Blood Orc was inside.

It was a solid troop unit—strong and definitely worth training.

With that, the orc village was fully cleared.

All that remained now was to sweep the rest of Crescent Island.

Exiting the camp, Lin Chen joined the others in the final exploration.

Over an hour later, as darkness fell, the group completed their sweep of the entire island.

They sealed 3 orange resource points and 8 purple ones.

They also discovered and opened:

Bronze Chests ×13

Silver Chests ×5

Gold Chests ×3

Platinum Chest ×1

The harvest was bountiful.

Nearly everything on Crescent Island that could be carried away was now in Lin Chen's possession.

Everyone was thoroughly exhausted.

Lin Chen raised his hand: "Alright—home we go."

The four mounted their Griffin Knights, leading the Windrunner Archers back to the Divine Domain territory, fully ld.

Upon returning, Lin Chen immediately resumed delegating tasks.

"Ina, prepare dinner."

"Jia Lou, Lilith, feed the troops."

After hours of continuous combat, the Griffin Knights and Windrunner Archers were famished and exhausted.

They needed food and rest to recover their strength.

Lin Chen himself returned to the Lord Hall.

There, he began sorting through the resources.

He opened every unopened chest.

"You've opened Random Troop Chest ×2. Gained: Tier-2 Troops[Wolffang Goblin], Tier-3 Troops[Boar Rider]."

"You've opened Epic Equipment Chest. Gained: Epic Gear[Robe of Holy Light], [Spear of Glory]."

"You've opened Platinum Equipment Chest. Gained: Platinum Gear[Eye of the Demon], [Blade of Flame]."

"You've opened..."

One by one, the chests were opened, yielding a massive haul of equipment and multiple troop units.

He set all the gear on an open patch of ground for the three women to pick from later.

As for the troops, all except the Furious Blood Orc were marked for sale.

Even the miscellaneous items would serve valuable purposes for Lin Chen.

Lastly, the resource gains—

In just this one expedition, he'd collected millions more.

Current Divine Domain resource stats:

[Divine Domain]

Level: 10

Alliance: None

Sub-territories: None

Population: 24,000 / 150,000

Daily Population Output: 1,500

Available Troop Classes: Windrunner Archer, Griffin Knight

Wood: 27.425 million

Stone: 27.398 million

Iron: 27.341 million

Gold: 6.899 million

Food: 2.153 million

Upgrade Cost: Wood, Stone, Iron, Gold ×1.17 million

Wood, stone, and iron were all nearing 30 million.

Gold, however, had dipped below 7 million.

That couldn't be helped.

Building, upgrading, and training troops all consumed gold.

Where could he possibly get enough?

Still, Lin Chen had a solution.

He planned to collect more Gold Resource Points—the higher the tier, the better.

Eventually, he'd relocate them to his territory and build a gold income hub.

Then he could train a batch of gatherer-enhanced troops, like dwarves or goblins.

Wouldn't the gold come pouring in?

Of course, this would only slightly ease the issue.

Gold would always be the most sought-after resource in the game's mid-stage—bar none.

With that in mind, Lin Chen decided that the 6 million gold he had left would be used to train more Griffin Knights.
