At Rose Estate, Ye Yun and Larrick were lounging by the pool behind the villa, basking in the sun.

Before them stretched the vast, sapphire-blue ocean—a stunning, tranquil view.

"Mr. Ye, you really know how to live. If only I had a place like this too,"

Larrick said with a sigh, taking a sip of his chilled vodka.

Though living in Hawaii meant he was no stranger to drinks and sunbathing, the experience here was different.

At Ye Yun's estate, not only could you enjoy peace and panoramic views, but there were also beautiful maids serving drinks. It was downright luxurious.

Ye Yun reclined in a lounge chair nearby, wearing nothing but swim trunks. His lean, defined torso was exposed, and his figure was undeniably fit.

Hearing Larrick's remark, he chuckled and said,

"If you like it, come by anytime. It gets boring being here alone."

And that was the truth. Although he finally had time to relax, after a week of doing nothing, boredom had set in.

That's why he'd dragged Larrick—who was the Mayor—over just to chat.

That's what the life of the rich was like: indulgent, repetitive, and, frankly, boring.

He needed something—anything—to fill the time.

"Oh no, I couldn't possibly…"

Larrick replied sheepishly, though his eyes sparkled with anticipation. Clearly, he was more than willing.

But when he heard that Ye Yun was getting restless and looking for something to do, he suddenly remembered something.

"Right—there's a gun club over on Oahu Island. Mr. Ye, interested in checking it out?"

"Gun club?"

Ye Yun sat up, sliding off his sunglasses, his eyes gleaming with curiosity.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner? Of course I want to go!"

"I only thought of it because you're from L Country. You've probably never handled firearms before,"

Larrick explained with a shrug. It was common knowledge that L Country strictly prohibited guns.

"Hurry up then, let's go!"

Ye Yun exclaimed with excitement, leaping up from his lounge chair.

He had always been a military tech geek, fascinated by firearms and weapons. Unfortunately, he'd never even touched a replica—let alone a real gun.

Unlike L Country, where gun laws were harsh, the M Country had no such restrictions.

And gun clubs were completely legal places to use firearms. Ye Yun had been yearning to visit one for ages.

Larrick was reluctant to leave, still wanting to enjoy the sun and sea view, but Ye Yun practically dragged him off the chair.

Soon, they headed to the dock and boarded a boat bound for Oahu Island.

Oahu, the largest of the Hawaiian islands, was also its most vibrant and economically vital hub.

After arriving, the two drove straight to the gun club.

The facility was divided into two sections: a firearms store and a shooting range.

The training area was mostly an add-on, designed to let customers get familiar with guns they were interested in buying.

Larrick clearly knew the place well. As they entered, he greeted the man behind the counter with a smile,

"Hey, Lance! Long time no see!"

But the store owner, upon seeing Larrick, suddenly changed his expression.

With impressive speed, he vaulted over the counter and shoved a pistol against Larrick's forehead.

"Fuck! You damn bastard still have the nerve to show your face? Return that bottle of whiskey you stole from me!"

The store owner—Lance—was a burly man, and the pudgy Larrick looked like a chick in his grip.

"That was two months ago! You're still hung up on that? I'll get you a new one later. Now get that damn gun out of my face—I know it's not loaded!"

Larrick snapped back, clearly unfazed.

Lance froze for a second, then let out a cold grunt and finally lowered the weapon.

Their banter made it clear—they were good friends, just with a weird dynamic.

Ye Yun found the whole scene rather amusing.

Larrick shot Lance a glare, then introduced Ye Yun:

"This is a friend of mine. He wants to shoot for a bit, so I brought him over."

Ye Yun extended a hand and said with a friendly smile,

"Hi, I'm Ye Yun."

"Wait—you're Ye Yun? The Mr. Ye?!"

Lance's eyes widened in shock.

"You know me?"

Ye Yun asked, a little surprised.

Lance immediately grabbed his hand and laughed heartily.

"These days, I'd say all of Hawaii knows about you and Rose Estate! I never thought we'd have a winery here that could rival Lafite!"

Ye Yun chuckled—clearly, the events from the banquet had spread faster than he'd expected.

And since Rose Lover was a local Hawaiian product, people here naturally paid close attention. It was a matter of island pride.

"Alright, enough chit-chat. Mr. Ye's here to shoot, not talk,"

Larrick interrupted impatiently.

Lance gave him a dirty look but still turned to Ye Yun with a grin.

"Mr. Ye, come on in. The shooting range is out back."

Ye Yun nodded, following Lance and Larrick through a pair of doors into the interior of the facility.

They arrived at a spacious indoor range, easily over 300 square meters.

It was outfitted with professional-grade equipment from end to end.

Mounted along the back wall were rows upon rows of firearms—every kind you could imagine.

There were even heavy sniper rifles like the Barrett series on display!

The range was lively, the air filled with the sharp cracks of gunfire.

"This is my training ground,"

Lance said with a proud sweep of his arm.

"Mr. Ye, take your pick—shoot whatever you like!"

"So many guns…"

Ye Yun's eyes lit up as he scanned the wall. Just seeing so many weapons stirred something deep in his heart.

He ignored the rifles and walked directly to the handguns, picking one off the rack.

Lance silently nodded with approval. Most newcomers rushed for the rifles—only to get wrecked by recoil.

Starting with a pistol? Smart choice.

But before he could explain the model, Ye Yun was already disassembling the gun with practiced ease, then putting it back together—fluid and precise.

As he worked, he murmured in awe,

"Browning M1911, A1 variant. .45 caliber. Never thought I'd see such a classic piece here."
