Ding! Do you wish to resurrect Nagath? The first resurrection requires 100,000 gold!

Yes!

A flash of light passed over the Hero Altar, and soon after, a figure appeared before it.

The cost of resurrecting heroes on the altar varies. The higher the hero's quality and level, and the more times they've been resurrected, the greater the amount of gold required.

Since Nagath was a B quality hero and this was his first resurrection, the gold required was not much. However, if he were to die multiple times, Lin Jin would have to reconsider whether to spend the gold for his revival.

"Master!"

Upon his resurrection, Nagath immediately knelt before Lin Jin, expressing deep respect and gratitude.

For him, this was the second life Lin Jin had granted him.

"What happened?" Lin Jin asked directly.

"Master, I was attacked by the Golden Dragon King! To be precise, it was a dragon horde led by the Golden Dragon King. However, I managed to lead them away in another direction, so perhaps they have not discovered this place yet," Nagath explained, recounting the details of his encounter with the Golden Dragon King, the location where it occurred, and the route he had taken to lead the dragons away.

This information brought Lin Jin some relief.

It seemed that the Golden Dragon King had been led to the west of the Tomb Town, an area that Lin Jin had not yet explored, while Leticia and Uther were busy exploring the east. If the Golden Dragon King reached this location, it would likely have been drawn to the Tomb Town first.

Lin Jin felt a sense of fortune. He had initially sent Nagath to explore the west, anticipating potential dangers. Thankfully, Nagath's delay had been useful. By the time Nagath had drawn the dragons away, Leticia and Uther were close to returning to the town. With their Crown-tier soldiers, their speed was much faster.

"Let's go. It's time to face the Golden Dragon!" Lin Jin said calmly.

He led Nagath to the town's walls and began issuing orders, arranging the defense. Confronting an enemy made entirely of Crown-tier units, it would have been foolish to form a standard formation like a wedge. Instead, he spread his forces out, placing the Greater Lich at various positions along with his mixed undead forces, both on the walls and below.

By dispersing his forces, Lin Jin made it more difficult for the Golden Dragons to inflict large-scale damage on his Greater Liches, while the Greater Liches themselves would relentlessly attack the dragons.

"Roar!"

In the distance, the Ghost Dragon roared, its presence ominous as it surveyed the skies.

A storm was about to hit.

Through Lin Jin's sharp gaze, he saw a massive Golden Dragon flying in the distance, accompanied by six other Golden Dragons. At the forefront, the Golden Dragon King led the charge.

This was the most powerful enemy Lin Jin had ever faced. Had he first entered the island, he would have immediately retreated back to the Desolate Forest. But now, he had grown far stronger.

"Death Angel!"

Lin Jin called softly, and the Death Angel flapped her wings, soaring into the air. Despite the looming threat of the enemy, the Death Angel appeared serene, as though untouched by the coming battle.

As for the Undead on the ground, they had no concept of fear.

Ding! The Golden Dragon King, leading the Golden Dragons, is attacking your Eternal Night City.

As soon as the Golden Dragon King stepped into the town's territory, a system notification rang out. Entering the domain meant declaring war.

"Stone Skin (Group)!"

With a wave of his right hand, Lin Jin cast Stone Skin (Group) on his core units, especially on the Ghost Dragon, Bone Dragon, and Death Angel.

"Attack!"

As the Golden Dragons neared, Lin Jin's Black Magic Sword slashed through the air, issuing the command to attack.

"Whoosh!"

In an instant, the front line of Skeleton Soldiers surged forward, followed by Ghosts and Wraiths, charging toward the Golden Dragons. These were mere cannon fodder, nothing more than expendable soldiers.

"Roar!"

The Golden Dragons roared in unison, enraged at the undead daring to challenge them. One by one, the Golden Dragons dove down, their massive jaws snapping open to unleash torrents of Dragon Breath at the Skeleton Soldiers.

The dragon breath devastated the front lines, incinerating wave after wave of Skeleton Soldiers. In the air, the Golden Dragon King and two other Golden Dragons unleashed their dragon breaths at the incoming Ghosts and Wraiths, causing them to shriek and disintegrate in midair.

However, there were too many Ghosts and Wraiths, scattered across all directions. The Golden Dragons could not destroy them all, and some Ghosts and Wraiths managed to get close enough to launch their attacks.

The Golden Dragons' thick health bars started to drop—though the damage was minimal, it was enough to show that Lin Jin's strategy was working.

The Dragon Breath, a powerful and basic attack of the Golden Dragons, was wearing them down. Long periods of using Dragon Breath rapidly exhausted their stamina, and they could not maintain the attack forever.

In the rear, Greater Liches raised their Skull Staffs, focusing their energies on the Golden Dragons above. Looking down from the town walls, it seemed like countless stars surrounded the Liches, as the energy from their staffs radiated outward.

"Death Cloud!"

With that command, a barrage of energy orbs flew into the air, striking the Golden Dragons with precise accuracy.

Boom!

The energy orbs exploded upon impact with the Golden Dragons, causing secondary damage. As the Plague Clouds spread, they painted the sky a sickly green, engulfing the Golden Dragons.

"Roar!"

From within the green mist, the roars of the Golden Dragons sounded strained, as the Plague Clouds sapped their strength.
