The Heavenly Dragon's True Fire blazed across the sky, turning the blackness into a searing red glow, illuminating the heavens like molten iron. The fiery torrent cascaded down, as if a river of flames was pouring from the heavens.

Back in the cave, Ku Xuan Daoist's expression twisted with fury. "You filthy monk! You think I fear you?!" He raised a protective weapon—a dark, gleaming Heavenly Umbrella—but the heavenly fire incinerated it within seconds, melting its precious frame.

"Monk, I am an envoy of the Heavenly Demon Sect, under Lord Tian Luo's protection. Do you dare to kill me?"

Standing tall on the back of the majestic Heavenly Dragon, Ethan Shu replied coolly, "Why not?"

With that, the flames surged, engulfing Ku Xuan. His screams echoed as he was reduced to ashes, his soul unable to escape the righteous flames. Ethan Shu glanced at the scorched rock left in his place, where a small, glowing piece of blue-green metal—a remnant of the destroyed weapon—lay shining. Ethan reached down, collecting it before his spirit and dragon returned to the Li residence in a flash of light.

Unaware of his journey, Squire Li and Ah Fu stared at Ethan's still body in confusion. At last, his spirit rejoined his body, and Ethan opened his eyes, now fully present.

"Saintly Monk!" Squire Li exclaimed. "What happened to the crimson dragon?"

"It's been taken care of," Ethan replied, calm as ever.

Squire Li's wife let out a disbelieving shriek. "Lies! That was a true dragon—how could you destroy it?"

Ethan turned his gaze toward her, his voice firm and unyielding. "Not only did I vanquish the dragon, but I also destroyed your 'beloved' Ku Xuan."

Squire Li's wife staggered, her face draining of color. She tried to laugh it off, her voice trembling with feigned outrage. "What are you talking about, monk? How dare you make such accusations!"

Squire Li, visibly shaken, turned to her, his voice hardening. "What does he mean, 'beloved'?"

Before she could respond, Ethan spoke, his voice cutting through her protests. "Mr. Li, this is, indeed, your family matter. But as a monk, I know the struggles men often face. I could not stand by while you remained in the dark."

With a pause, he met Squire Li's eyes. "I regret to inform you that the child your wife carries is not yours."

Squire Li's world shattered in that moment. He stumbled back, collapsing onto a chair, his mind struggling to process the betrayal. His wife, meanwhile, let out a furious scream, lunging at Ethan in a wild rage. Ah Fu quickly held her back as she hurled insults and threats at the monk.

But Ethan remained unaffected, his expression serene and detached, as if her words were little more than the barking of a dog.

"Madam," he addressed her calmly, "did you truly think that Ku Xuan cared for you?"

Her furious eyes met his, but he continued without hesitation. "He only used you as a pawn, planting this false five-ghost fortune around your husband, cursing him with terrible karma and deceiving him into raising those spirits in his home. His aim was never love or loyalty—it was always control and manipulation."

Ethan looked pointedly at her stomach. "And as for the child you carry—do you think he had your best interests at heart?"

A chilling smirk touched his lips, his eyes never leaving hers.
