Time flew swiftly.

In the blink of an eye, darkness had fallen, and the train was finally approaching Hogwarts Castle.

Ye Ting had spent a delightful afternoon chatting with the three little girls and had become friends with them—although he had never been in a relationship before his time travel and hadn't made many female friends, dealing with a few little girls wasn't a problem for him.

Just as they were packing up their luggage, ready to disembark at any moment, the sound of commotion and fighting echoed from outside the door.

Ye Ting listened intently, and he recognized Harry Potter's and Ron Weasley's voices among them. Additionally, there was a particularly arrogant voice that stood out; in Ye Ting's opinion, this must be Draco Malfoy.

In Ye Ting's memory, Draco Malfoy wasn't truly a bad kid. He was born into a Sacred Twenty-Eight Pure-blood Wizard family, where his parents and relatives were all Death Eaters. Naturally, he had picked up a selfish personality and arrogance towards Muggles.

However, since Ye Ting himself was a Muggle, he was inherently opposed to Malfoy. Therefore, even though he knew Malfoy's true nature, Ye Ting didn't want to have any interactions with this pure-blood wizard—after all, dealing with troublesome kids was a hassle.

Moreover, Ye Ting's focus was currently on two things: studying magic and raising little girls.

He planned to validate his conjectures and research about the "plot" by influencing and changing "the heroine," Hermione. On one hand, he lacked the energy, and focusing on influencing one person was more convenient than three. On the other hand, he preferred interacting with cute girls more than boys.

Therefore, he didn't intend to purposefully engage with Harry Potter and Ron Weasley too much at this point.

So, he just listened to the voices outside the door as Malfoy and his two cronies, Crabbe and Goyle, argued with Harry and Ron, leading to a physical altercation. The outcome was no different from the original story: Malfoy was bitten by Scabbers, and then the two groups parted ways.

...

...

Finally, after a long journey, the train's whistle sounded, and its speed gradually slowed down.

In the darkness of the night, the towering shadow of Hogwarts drew nearer and nearer.

Eventually, they arrived at their destination, the magic school Ye Ting had been looking forward to.

Students pushed and shoved, one after another, squeezing off the train.

Using his physical strength, Ye Ting carved a "path of victory" through the crowd with the three girls.

As soon as they stepped off the train, they saw a small platform. A rugged voice shouted loudly, "First-years! First-years, come this way!"

The owner of the voice also specially mentioned Harry Potter. Ye Ting knew this was Hogwarts' gamekeeper, Hagrid's voice.

He briefly bid farewell to the two second-years, Cho Chang and Marietta, and then pulled Hermione towards the sound.

Being held by a boy like this made Hermione feel a bit uneasy, but she still pretended to be calm and followed him step by step.

Hagrid, with his giant lineage, was much taller than any basketball player, and Ye Ting could see him from afar.

Under his guidance, all the first-years stumbled along a narrow path.

In the blink of an eye, the path came to an end, revealing a vast black lake.

On the other side of the lake, perched high on a hill, stood a magnificent castle with numerous spires and windows glistening under the starlit sky.

Hagrid organized the students to board the boats, each capable of holding four people. After Ye Ting and Hermione boarded, Harry and Ron followed suit, greeting them enthusiastically.

The fleet set sail. Along the way, silence reigned as everyone quietly admired the breathtaking view of the colossal castle towering into the clouds on the cliffs, occasionally uttering low sighs.

After passing through a patch of ivy, the fleet entered a dark tunnel, seemingly arriving underground at the castle, eventually reaching a place resembling an underground dock before climbing up a ground covered with rubble and small pebbles.

The first-years disembarked and followed Hagrid to a massive oak door.

Finally, they had truly arrived at the entrance of Hogwarts.

Hagrid knocked three times on the oak door, and it immediately opened.

At the doorway stood a tall witch with dark hair, wearing an emerald-green robe. Her stern expression suggested she wasn't someone to be trifled with.

"First-years, Professor McGonagall." Hagrid said.

"Thank you, Hagrid. I'll take them from here." Professor McGonagall nodded and led the first-years forward.

Crossing the vast hall, Professor McGonagall took them to a small empty room at the other end.

"Welcome to Hogwarts," she said, "The Sorting Ceremony will soon begin. However, before you proceed to the dining hall, we need to determine which house each of you will belong to. The Sorting is an important ceremony because your house will be your family at Hogwarts during your school years. You will attend classes, live in dormitories, and spend your free time in the common room with other students from your house."

Subsequently, she briefly introduced the four houses and mentioned some important points, then asked the first-years to wait for a moment before leaving.
