"How are we going to get to Diagon Alley?" Ye Ting asked curiously.

"Apparition, it's a convenient spell but not very comfortable," Dumbledore pulled out his wand. "Hold onto me tightly, child, and try not to throw up."

Ye Ting felt a blur in front of his eyes, followed by a spinning sensation. Yet amidst this chaos, he saw a clear spatial pathway—a narrow tunnel that could barely fit two people.

He felt himself being sucked into a narrow rubber tube and then spat out, exchanging his original space with another.

In the blink of an eye, they were in a narrow alley. Perhaps due to his innate talent, Ye Ting felt nothing unusual, but Himari in his backpack was meowing loudly, obviously feeling unwell.

"How are you feeling?" Dumbledore looked at Ye Ting with concern. "Wizards who experience Apparition for the first time often have some adverse reactions."

"I feel great," Ye Ting reassured, stroking the kitten's head until she finally calmed down. "I think I can handle a few more trips like that."

"Oh, you're indeed born to be a wizard. Wool's Orphanage always produces geniuses," Dumbledore remarked, though the latter part was just a murmur to himself, not meant for others to hear.

The two walked further down the alley and finally stopped in front of an unremarkable small pub.

"The Leaky Cauldron," Dumbledore introduced. "This is a famous place. The Leaky Cauldron is enchanted to ensure that ordinary Muggles cannot find it without a guide!"

It was a small and dirty pub. People in a hurry didn't even glance at the little shop. Their gazes slid from a big bookstore on one side of the street to a record shop on the other, as if they couldn't see it at all.

Although it was a famous place in the wizarding world, it was dim and worn inside. Nine elderly women sat in the corner, sipping small glasses of sherry, with one of them smoking a long-stemmed pipe. A young man wearing a tall hat was chatting with the old bartender, whose bald head looked like a swollen walnut. When they walked in, the buzz of idle chatter ceased immediately, and everyone nodded and smiled at Dumbledore, who politely responded in return.

The bartender picked up a glass and said, "Professor Dumbledore, are you here to pick up a new student personally?"

"Yes, a new student from a Muggle orphanage." Dumbledore replied.

"Is Little Harry okay? He's going to Hogwarts this year too!" Tom said as if mentioning something delightful, and others nearby pricked up their ears to listen.

"Harry will be escorted by Hagrid!" Dumbledore explained, then led Ye Ting into the courtyard, where there was only a wall made of bricks.

"The entrance to Diagon Alley is here. You must remember how to enter it," Dumbledore gently traced a special spot on the stone bricks of the wall with his wand and tapped it three times, reminding, "Alright, step back, Mr. Ye."

The brick Dumbledore tapped with his wand trembled and began to move, revealing a small hole in the center, which grew larger and larger until a wide archway appeared before them, wide enough for two people to walk abreast, leading to a cobblestone street that twisted and turned out of sight.

Turning around, Dumbledore opened his arms and said to Ye Ting, "Welcome to Diagon Alley."

Following Dumbledore, Ye Ting stepped into the magical world for the first time.

He knew that from now on, his life would bid farewell to ordinariness. The fame, wealth, and power of ordinary people would no longer be his pursuits. His future would be accompanied by legends.

It all began in this alleyway.

The alley was filled with various strange shops, street vendors, and people buying things. Most of them knew Dumbledore and nodded to him in greeting.

The old man led Ye Ting through the alley, nodding to others while introducing each shop and what Ye Ting needed to buy there.

Finally, they arrived in front of a snow-white building, much taller than the surrounding shops.

"This is Gringotts," Dumbledore introduced. "Gringotts is the bank of the wizarding world. You need to exchange Muggle currency here for wizard gold Galleons, silver Sickles, and bronze Knuts."

Next to the shiny bronze doors of Gringotts stood a goblin wearing a crimson and gold uniform. They were about a head shorter than Ye Ting, with a dark and clever face, pointed beard, and slender fingers and feet.

The goblin bowed to them as they entered. Beyond it was a second door, silver, with the following words inscribed on it:

Enter, stranger, but take heed of what awaits the sin of greed. For those who take, but do not earn, must pay most dearly in their turn. So if you seek beneath our floors. A treasure that was never yours, thief, you have been warned, beware of finding more than treasure there.
