Since arriving here, his daily experience had been aimless drifting in the gaps between turbulent currents, living a half-life of neither death nor existence, and somehow surviving through bizarre strokes of luck—countless times he was almost sucked into the maelstrom, but each time was unexpectedly pulled out by another, continuing his drift in the balance of their opposing forces.

As time passed, he sensed changes in his body—his physical age was becoming younger, his height and build shrinking, his clothes growing ever larger. When his body reached a certain degree of smallness, he felt his thinking abilities begin to regress.

He believed his age was reversing, and his brain undergoing reverse growth.

In this way, even if he wasn't turned into powder by the turbulent currents, he might still revert to a fertilized egg due to his regressing physical age and then cease to exist.

Yet, luck favored him once again. Just before becoming an embryo completely, he happened to stumble into a rift and emerged from the other side intact, arriving in this new world, appearing at the gate of this orphanage.

By this time, he had regressed into an infant, with most of his clothes and belongings lost in the spacetime tunnel, only his underwear and a signed white subway card remaining—these provided him with his previous life's name, Ye Ting.

As Ye Ting gradually grew up, he began to perceive the changes brought about by his experiences in the spacetime tunnel. These changes made him feel that even if he hadn't acquired a system like the protagonists in novels after crossing over, he could still be considered a chosen one.

He discovered that he possessed the talent for unlimited learning and growth, somewhat similar to Saitama from One Punch Man, yet different.

Any ability, talent, or skill he had could become infinitely stronger through continuous learning and training.

With exercise, his body grew stronger; with study, he acquired new knowledge; by honing his will, it became more resilient; through diligent thinking, his intellect flourished.

This was equivalent to having no limiting factors in any aspect, and even the talent itself, which determined the speed of progress, would gradually grow stronger with practice.

This led him to indulge in learning and exercise for a long time until he noticed something was wrong—he was too different, prompting him to slow down his learning pace.

He also found that he had a remarkable talent for time and space, able to perceive distance without reference points and judge the passage of time without a clock, undoubtedly benefits from his experiences in the spacetime tunnel.

Moreover, as he aged, he began to realize that he could unconsciously influence and change matter—he could move water cups, make spoons disappear, feel time slow down when concentrating, and even occasionally summon items from other worlds. With his mature mindset and self-control, he gradually prevented unconscious accidents caused by momentary emotions and, through continuous experimentation, became able to consciously use this ability, actually known as "magic."

Nowadays, he can move objects of moderate weight with his mind and use some abilities related to time and space almost instinctively. For example, he can briefly control the time flow of his body like Emiya Kiritsugu's "Time Alter" or the "Bullet Time" in The Matrix, and can use summoning magic: mostly ineffective, but occasionally able to summon things from other worlds.

Until today, his treasure chest had been filled with various exotic items from other worlds, including a forehead protector seemingly from the "Naruto" world's Konohagakure, a katana resembling a "Asauchi," a Master Ball, a novel titled "The Lusty Argonian Maid" (entirely in Nordic text but with illustrations), an erotic book by "Hiroki Kashiwagi," a coin inscribed with "I wish my sisters will grow up and marry together with me" (the wishing coin thrown by Sylvanas Windrunner into the Dalaran Fountain), a ring named "Doran's Lost Ring," and more.

Most of what he summoned were inanimate objects, the only exception being a little white cat named "Himari" currently lounging on the windowsill—a cat demon from "Protective Charm Himari." When first summoned, the little creature was still an infant, practically raised by Ye Ting. Now Himari was two years old, and perhaps because she's a cat demon, she's already quite intelligent and spiritual. He eagerly awaitd the day Himari can truly speak and transform into a human.

Until today, Ye Ting thought he had merely returned to Britain in the 1980s or 1990s. He believed he possessed insights and experiences over two decades ahead of his time and a powerful golden finger. Even without a system, he was confident he could become the world's richest man in the new internet era and reach the pinnacle of success.

Until he opened the door and saw the white-bearded old man in front of him.

"Hello, Mr. Ye Ting, I am Albus Dumbledore, the Headmaster of Hogwarts."
